Ella Fox-Martens (b.1998) was born in Kingston, Ontario. She was raised between Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and Perth, Western Australia — but has lived in London since 2020. By day she is an editorial assistant for Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster UK. By night she writes fiction, essays and reviews.
