Ella Fox-Martens was born in Canada and raised between South Africa and Western Australia. Her fiction and nonfiction has been published in The Atlantic, The Baffler, The Drift, Literary Review, The Fence, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Hobart, Forever Magazine and others. She is an assistant editor at Scribner UK, lives in London, and is 27 years old.Her debut novel VISITING HOURS is forthcoming from Picador UK in 2028.

She is represented by Kat Aitken at Lexington Literary.
